FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is your photography style?
My wedding photography is a blend of candid moments and timeless creative portraits. My approach is documentary which means that with exception of portraits I do not direct anything but I observe and capture your story in a most creative way.
Where do you work?
I am based in Switzerland, between Lausanne and Geneva, and I serve mainly the French speaking part of Switzerland although I also travel in Switzerland and beyond. I work mainly in English although my French is finally getting a bit better!
How long have you been shooting weddings? What is your experience?
I have been a professional photographer for 9 years now and I have been shooting weddings for the last 4 years. Before shooting weddings I was mainly a family photographer including various family events eg. baptisms, birthday parties etc. I am comfortable shooting in various lighting conditions, rain as well as in chaotic situations and under time pressure.
What equipment do you use? And do you have any back up in case it breaks?
I use professional Canon equipment (R5 with several L-series lenses) and I always have a back up camera with me. Each of my cameras has two card slots so your images are always recorded with a back up.
How many pictures do you provide and how long do we need to wait for them?
I photograph your wedding as a story and the number of pictures varies as each wedding is different in time and activities but I always include all good and unique photos and there is no limitation per package. As a standard it takes me 10 business days to deliver your photos. Sometimes a bit longer if I travel or during a holiday period.
Do you have a replacement wedding photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of our wedding?
Yes, I have a network of experienced colleagues I can call upon. However in particularly busy season I always recommend to take an option of a second shooter who can step in if needed.
